Imagendary Studios was founded in January 2021 by a global team of award-winning AAA veterans from some of the video game industry’s most recognized studios. With an average of 15 years of dedication in AAA level game design and development, our team thrive to deliver the most extraordinary entertainment experience to gamers and audience across the world.

Today marks a new beginning for our founding team here at Imagendary. I have always believed that choosing the right team is the most important part of success. We were fortunate to have the support of a group of world-class creators from the very beginning. We value diversity and respect differences between cultures from around the world. We believe that diversity is the key to unlock the limits to our individual imaginations. It is the future world we want to build upon. We are very honored and passionate to invite more creative minds from around the world to join us to forge our path together into the future.

Adam Lee

Concept Art | Art
Adam is a Senior Concept Artist at Imagendary. He enjoys cosmic horror and dark fantasy. Favorite game of all time is Bloodborne, still waiting for Bloodborne 2.

Allen Holbrook

Animation | Art
Allen brings more than 16 years of character animation experience to Imagendary Studios. Most of his career was working in film on titles such as Transformers, Iron Man 2, Spiderman: Homecoming and Avengers: Endgame. Before joining Imagendary he was working with Blizzard Entertainment’s cinematics department. In his free time he enjoys hip hop dancing at the local dance studio and spending quality time with his rescue dog, Jack.

Chris Erickson

Lighting | Art
Chris joins Imagendary with nearly a decade of production experience in Academy Award Winning films and games. During his career at Disney Animation Studios, Chris contributed to titles such as Big Hero 6, Zootopia, and Moana. Chris served most recently at Blizzard Entertainment on titles such as Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm and more.

Chris Nichols

Texture Painter | Art
Chris Nichols is a texture painter with 18 years experience in vfx for film and tv. Originally from Perth Australia, Chris relocated to Vancouver Canada in 2007 and has worked at Method , Digital Domain, Spin and Double Negative throughout his time there. In his spare time, Chris enjoys making latex monster masks that he decorates his garage with.

Chung Kan

3D Asset Development | Art
Chung served over 16 years as a Lead Cinematic Artist at Blizzard Entertainment. He helped create some of Blizzard's most iconic 3D characters on their award winning pre-render and real-time cinematics on AAA franchises like Starcraft, Diablo, World of Warcraft, Overwatch and Hearthstone.

Cole Higgins

Previs | Art
Cole Higgins brings over a decade of Previs industry experience working for LucasFilm, Ready At Dawn, Blizzard and more. He has directed short films, animated series and most recently a music video for the grammy award winning artist Awolnation. He is a passionate artist that loves world building, sculpting, drawing, painting, cinematography, playing music and learning new technology.

Damien Peinoit

Environment Artist | Art
Damien has been working as an 3D Environment artist for over 17 years, and has workedfor studios like 'Blur studio' , 'Ilm', 'Nvidia' and many more. His latest big work was for the anthology 'Love death and Robots' which he worked on several episodes and lots of AAA games cinematics. He also loves to share his 3D knowledge and give people access to pro tips and help them improve their skills with online tutorials.

David Luong

Lighting | Digimatte
David served as a cinematic artist at Blizzard Entertainment for 15 years. He brings over 17 years of film & games industry experience with deep knowledge in lighting, compositing and digital matte painting. David is also known as “Eleven” at Imagendary. David is an enthusiastic mentor and educator in digital matte painting through the online community and co-authored the book d’Artiste: Matte Painting Vol. 3.

Enrique Munoz

Lighting | Art
Enrique joins Imagendary with over 20 years of visual effects experience in the film, television and gaming industry. Previous productions include Academy Award winning Spiderman 2 and Emmy winning Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Past studios include Sony Imageworks, Digital Domain and Walt Disney Feature Animation. Most recently served as Lead Lighting Artist for Blizzard Entertainment.

Eric Chou

Animation | Art
Eric is a character animator with over a decade of experience in the film and gaming industry. Most recently Eric was a cinematic animator at Blizzard Entertainment and contributed to the cinematics for World of Warcraft, Overwatch and Overwatch 2. He has also worked at studios such as Sony Imageworks, Blue Sky Studios, and Industrial Light & Magic. His credits include Academy Award-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Eric Liu

Production | IT
Working as a Software Engineer for over 10 years, Eric brings extensive experience for project management from the gaming industry. Eric is a problem solver and a hardcore gamer for titles like Dark Souls 3 and World of Warcraft.

Fabio Stabel

Lighting | Art
With a career spanning over 23 years, Fabio brings over 15 years of AAA development experience from Blizzard Entertainment where he worked as a Lighting and Compositing Artist and from Blur Studio, as a Rigger and Lighting Artist. Fabio worked in cinematic pieces such as Dante's Inferno, DC Universe Online, StarWars Force Unleashed II, Halo Wars, Bioshock, Diablo, StarCraft, World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone and Overwatch.

Frederic Daoust

Character Artist | Art
Frederic Daoust is a Character artist from Montreal with 12 years of experience in the video game industry. He has worked on multiple AAA titles through the years such as Deus Ex, Tomb Raider, Mass Effect, Anthem, Fortnite and more. When he is not working on personal art projects in his spare time he like to travel ,play games or have a drink with friends and family.

Ian Goold

Visual Effects | Art
Ian has over 10 years of experience developing video games and visual effects. He has held many titles from design to technical art but most recently focusing his expertise on his true passion, visual effects. Ian has worked at top AAA studios creating real-time effects for award winning games like Riot Game's Valorant and Sony PlayStation's exclusive DAYSGONE.

Jason Hayes

Audio Director | Composer
A multiple award-winning composer, Jason was the lead composer of the original release of World of Warcraft, one of the most successful online games in the world. He is well known for contributing music to games at Blizzard Entertainment set in the popular worlds of Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo. His music has been performed by symphony orchestras around the world in various concerts including the touring show "Video Games Live", which debuted at the Hollywood Bowl with the LA Philharmonic.

Kevin VanderJagt

Producer | Cinematics
Kevin joins Imagendary with over 15 years of production experience from live action feature film VFX as well as high end cinematic animation. During his time at Blizzard Animation, Kevin worked closely with the Overwatch team to produce the entire catalog of Overwatch Animated Shorts, which were awarded Gold in the 2017 Clio Entertainment Awards for creative content in a scripted film. 

Matt Cordner

VFX | Technical Art
As an Academy Award recipient, Matt brings over 20 years of visual effects experience from the film and gaming industries. Matt served most recently as Senior Technical and FX Artist at Blizzard, contributing to many of their major franchises in the past decade. In 2013, Matt was awarded at the Science and Technical Awards Ceremony by the 85th Academy Award. Throughout his career, Matt has contributed to various renowned films and IPs including I Am Legend, Godzilla, and Star Trek.

Michael Brinker

Game Design Director | Games
Michael Brinker is a Video Game Designer with over fifteen years of experience in AAA games. He has worked on many iconic gaming franchises such as The Godfather, The Simpsons, Tomb Raider and Marvel's Avengers. Michael has extensive experience with console game development on PC, Xbox and Playstation. Some of his personal hobbies include ice hockey and fishing.

Michael Chung

IT | Admin
Michael Chung brings six years of IT experience across a diverse range of fields. He previously served as a senior escalation point for the two largest Hollywood talent agencies with a specialization in resolving high-sensitivity tickets for VIP clients. His roots in small business inform a user-oriented attitude, recognizing that IT support produces the most optimal results when treated primarily as customer service with a side of technical support. 

Momo Koshu

Concept Art | Art
Momo joined Imagendary as Hard Surface Concept Artist. Prior to joining Imagendary, Momo served as Concept Artist at Skydance Interactive. In his leisure time, he also teaches concept art class at Laguna Art College. With his Japanese heritage, he is a big fan of Japanese anime.

Nathaniel Lee

Animation | Art
Nate is a journalist turned animator with 7 years of experience in the games industry. Before joining Imagendary, he contributed to several projects including Injustice 2, Mafia III and several entries in the Call of Duty Franchise. Most recently, he worked as a Cinematic Animator on Ghost of Tsushima at Sucker Punch Productions.

Nelson Wang

Rigging | Technical Art
Nelson brings over 20 years of AAA experience as Principal Rigging Artist at Blizzard Entertainment’s Cinematics Group. Nelson also served at Digital Domain in Character Rigging and Tools Development. Be it writing a python tool or animating a character, his interests and abilities run the gamut.

Nilla Gelius

Human Resources | HR
Nilla brings over 14 years of global gaming industry experience. Prior to joining Imagendary, Nilla worked at Unbroken Studios and Blizzard Entertainment, supporting game teams, esports, broadcast, and publishing. Nilla grew up in Sweden but has lived and worked all over the world. She finally settled in California in 2014.

Patrik Karlsson

3D Character | Art
Patrik is a seasoned veteran with nearly 20 years in the gaming industry. Having held leading and critical roles at some of the best creative teams in the gaming industry, he is joining Imagendary from BioWare, where he served as Craft Director. In the past 10 years at BioWare he worked on such games as Dragon Age Inquisition, Mass Effect, Anthem and most recently Dragon Age 4.

Piotrek Krawczyk

Pipeline Dev | Technical Art
Piotrek joins Imagendary from Blizzard Entertainment, where he served as Principal LookDev Technical Artist. Over his 17 years in the industry, he has worked for some of the world’s best studios in CG and VFX such as Pixar and Sony Imageworks. His movie credits include Cars, Surf's Up, I Am Legend and Mars Needs Moms. In the past 10 years at Blizzard, he contributed in the rendered cinematics for all their major franchises.

Rachel Vargas

Office Administrator | Administration
Rachel has joined Imagendary Studios as our Office Administrator with over four years of experience working in office management, team organization, and interior design. She brings with her a degree in Graphic Design and Advertisement, and is an accomplished web developer, having created and managed multiple websites specializing in eCommerce and portfolio development. Rachel is also an artist, and does character illustration/painting in her free time.

Ryan Pollreisz

Studio Manager | Management
Ryan brings over 20 years of film-making experience with Academy Award Winning titles such as Golden Compass, Life of Pi and Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse. Ryan served most recently as VP Artist Management at Sony Picture Imageworks. Ryan has been appointed to the position of Studio Manager at Imagendary in January 2022.

Serg Souleman

Concept Art | Art
Serg brings over 12 years of industry experience working on various renowned IPs and gaming projects such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Destiny, Mortal Kombat, Evangelion. Serg was born in Russia and raised in California. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, photography and adventure.

Sheen Farmoudi

Recruiter | HRG
Sheen Farnoudi is an HR Generalist with six years of experience in the field of Human Resources. Most of his HR experiences are in the Games & Entertainment industry, with some years in Consulting and Retail as well. Sheen is thrilled to be working alongside talented Games & Art professionals, providing support in recruitment, documentation, process development, and HR data. 

Tom Thompson

Software Engineer | Visual Effects
Tom brings over 20 years of animation, VFX, and cinematic tool development experience to Imagendary. Three times nominated for Sci-Tech Academy Awards for his contributions to procedural geometry, he has created tools that are now industry standards. During his time at Disney Animation he was credited on every film from Chicken Little through Frozen and at Blizzard he worked on all major franchise cinematics.

Victoria Xu

Business Operations | Operations
Victoria brings over ten years of experience in business development and data analytics with the tech industry. She previously served at a private equity fund focusing on investment and acquisition of data services and analytical solutions for gaming and interactive media portfolios. ​​She started her career as electrical engineer in the semiconductor industry.


Founder & CEO | Creative Director
Wei’s career spans over 20 years, serving some of the industry's best selling IPs in games, movies, concept art and worldbuilding. For more than 11 years he served as Principal Artist at Blizzard, where he contributed to the creative designs of all major IPs by the company. Wei founded Imagengdary Studios in 2021. He currently serves as Chief Creative Officer at FunPlus and CEO at Imagendary Studios.

Wey Wong

3D Development | Art
Wey had been working in the films, cinematics and video games industry for over 16 years. At the beginning of Wey’s career, he had worked on many blockbuster movies including Academy Award VFX winning films such as Golden Compass and Life of Pi, then his passion for video games had led him Blizzard entertainment where he contributed in the productions of all their major IPs.

Changnan Hou

Illustration | Art
Hou has a wealth of experience in illustration field and worked as a senior illustrator for Legends of Runeterra by Riot Games. He has remarkable insight to art.

Hairong Zhang

Administration | Management
Hairong worked as an executive director of Hart for eight years. She advocates open and innovative methods of management. She used to be a deputy editor of a music magazine and a music website. She was once invited to Hong Kong for a feature of a music band. She worked in Jiangsu TV Station for five years and is experienced in management.

Jun Sun

Concept Art | Art
Jun has ten years of experience in film and game concept design, and is responsible for main concept design in CG animation for many flims and various games included PUBGM, Iron Sky, Monkey King , 749 Ju, Moon Man and so on.

kan xie

3D Character | Art
As a former lead character artist, Kan worked in Activision Blizzard for four years. He worked on multiple well-known AAA games including Call of duty and Destiny.

Kelly Zhang

Producer | Filming
Kelly worked with DreamWorks Animation and Netflix as Line Producer for it's original animation TV series and Animation Feature Film created by Guillermo Del Toro, with Annie Awards Nominations for Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans, and the trilogy of Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia.

Lu Hua

Head of Shanghai Studio
Lu is a co-founder of Imagendary Studios and one of China’s top computer graphics illustrators and concept artists, whose works have won plenty of international awards. His masterpiece Samurai of Chaos series is highly regarded and popular among the global audience. He is also experienced in concept design and art direction.

Terry Wei

Concept Art | Art
Terry worked in IGG R&D Department and Riot Games, and served as the commercial art leader of Legends of Runeterra by Riot Games. Terry is good at character and concept design, experienced in art developing and is able to create in multiple fields.

Xin Zhang

Branding | Operation
Xin has worked in well-known internet companies with 10-year experience of brand strategy and operation. She owns keen insight and remarkable execution capacity in branding and marketing.

Zexing Lv

Narrative Design/ Scriptwriter
Zexing has been working on the science fiction field for ten years. He was deeply engaged in the work of narrative design, story writing and product design of The THREE-Body Problem IP as the chief planner. As a scriptwriter, he has participated in the production and planning of several global The Three-Body Problem films and television works.
